A cutting board that gets knife marks? A cutting board that resists knife marks.

Different cutting boards—what makes them different?

Cutting boards come in a variety of materials such as wood, silicone, PP, and TPU, and each material has its own unique advantages and characteristics.

Among them, doblé has focused on one of the most common consumer pain points—the issue of knife marks on cutting boards.

Why should we be careful with cutting boards that have deep knife marks?

Deep grooves on a cutting board can easily trap food residue and moisture, which may lead to bacterial growth and hygiene issues.

doblé continuously researches solutions to eliminate the problem of knife marks for a safer and more hygienic kitchen environment.

How does doblé prevent deep knife marks on its cutting boards?

The answer lies in doblé’s patented technology.

Through years of research and development, doblé secured patents in 2016 and 2020, creating its own proprietary technology that effectively reduces deep knife marks on cutting boards.

By applying enhanced wear-resistant special materials and differentiated manufacturing processes, doblé cutting boards are highly resistant to scratches and stains, making them more hygienic and longer-lasting.

While they may look similar on the surface, the difference in technology is clear. doblé continues to innovate to advance a premium kitchen culture.

Only surface coating? Antibacterial throughout — inside and out.

Antibacterial technology built into the cutting board itself

doblé does not rely on simply coating the surface with antibacterial agents. Instead, it enhances the board’s inherent antibacterial performance by directly blending antibacterial agents into TPU raw materials. This allows antibacterial effectiveness to be maintained not only on the surface, but throughout the entire material, helping create a safer and more hygienic kitchen environment.

Verified by SGS, a globally recognized testing and certification organization.
99% antibacterial effectiveness confirmed after 24 hours against E. coli, Staphylococcus aureus, and Salmonella.

doblé’s antibacterial technology is based on inorganic antibacterial agents composed of natural minerals. Unlike surface coatings that can wear off over time, these antibacterial agents are built into the material itself, providing long-lasting antibacterial performance.

As a result, the antibacterial properties do not wash away during cleaning and remain effective throughout the product’s lifespan, helping protect the cutting board from harmful bacteria, mold, and microorganisms.

Globally Recognized Quality

doblé’s antibacterial technology has been certified for safety and reliability by organizations such as the U.S. FDA, NSF, SGS Europe, and Japan’s SIAA.

As of 2026, doblé cutting boards are exported to 27 countries worldwide, reflecting the trust and recognition the brand has earned across global markets.

Expensive Chinese raw materials? Top-grade German BASF raw materials.

Made with Chinese Materials and Labeled “Made in Korea”?

Many people ask us: "Wouldn't it be better to lower costs by using inexpensive Chinese materials?" But doblé sees things differently. Although they may look similar, cutting boards made with Chinese materials are fundamentally different from those made with premium raw materials supplied by BASF. We believe customers who have experienced both products will recognize the difference and choose doblé again. That is why we have never compromised on our principles and philosophy. A truly safe cutting board starts with the quality of its raw materials. No matter how many certifications a material may have, doblé does not use Chinese raw materials—not even 0.1%.

FDA Compliance

doblé cutting boards have obtained U.S. FDA compliance for both raw materials and finished products. While many manufacturers use FDA-compliant raw materials, doblé went a step further by obtaining FDA compliance for the finished cutting board itself through direct verification in the United States. Because safety begins with uncompromising standards.

A cutting board that only talks about eco-friendliness? An eco-certified cutting board.

TPU Material Used in doblé Cutting Boards

The TPU material used in doblé cutting boards offers excellent heat resistance, withstanding temperatures up to 150°C (302°F). It is free from harmful endocrine-disrupting chemicals and provides more than three times the strength of conventional PE or PP materials. Thanks to its superior surface resilience, the material naturally recovers from knife contact, helping to reduce deep scratches and grooves that can trap contaminants. This makes TPU one of the most ideal materials for hygienic and durable cutting boards.

What Makes doblé’s TPU Material Special?

doblé cutting boards are made with medical-grade TPU, a non-toxic and eco-friendly material free from harmful substances such as endocrine disruptors and TVOCs (Total Volatile Organic Compounds). This is the same category of TPU material widely used in demanding medical applications that require long-term safety and biocompatibility. By using medical-grade TPU, doblé delivers a cutting board designed with both safety and durability in mind.

Proper Cutting Board Care

To keep a cutting board clean, many people boil it or sanitize it with baking soda before use. But is it really necessary to go through this process every time you use your cutting board?

With a doblé cutting board, simply wash it with
regular dish soap or a cutting board cleaner—and you're done!

doblé cutting boards provide continuous antibacterial protection throughout the entire board, inside and out, eliminating the need for boiling or additional sterilization.

A cutting board without a holder?
A cutting board with a dedicated holder.

Proper drying after washing your cutting board is just as important as cleaning it.

Make sure you have a dedicated stand or hanger that allows air to circulate freely and helps the board dry completely.

Features of the Doble Cutting Board Stand

The doblé stand is designed with open sides, top, and bottom to maximize airflow for faster, more hygienic drying. The non-slip base keeps the cutting board securely in place, preventing it from wobbling while stored. In addition, every Doble cutting board features a hanging hole at the end, making it easy to hang and dry neatly even without the dedicated stand.

A single-purpose cutting board?

What Is Cross-Contamination?

Cross-contamination occurs when harmful substances, such as bacteria, are transferred between a cutting board and food.

According to the Korea Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS), a cutting board used to prepare raw chicken should not be used for other ingredients, as doing so may increase the risk of foodborne contamination.

How Can You Prevent Cross-Contamination? Use separate cutting boards for different ingredients and purposes.

Because uncooked ingredients come into direct contact with your cutting board, using separate boards for different types of food helps reduce the risk of cross-contamination, foodborne illness, and infection. With 17 colors and 3 sizes, Doble cutting boards make it easy to assign a dedicated board to each purpose or ingredient, ensuring safer and more hygienic food preparation.
